Inconspicuously hidden directly below the beginning of the Bilgola Bends is Bilgola Beach. Homes in this secluded, semi tropical enclave are highly sought after yet rarely offered for sale. When they do come onto the market they are snatched up very quickly, and well into the millions. On the northern side the views encompass Lion Island and stretch all the way to the Central Coast. Those on the western side take in the tranquil Pittwater, Kuringai National Park and enjoy sensational sunsets. The eastern escarpment looks out to the Pacific Ocean and the infinite horizon.

The Plateau is well serviced by public buses and features two local shopping centers, a public school and several kindergartens. It is only a short drive down the hill to the Avalon shopping village or into Newport.
